Gabriel Casanova
With a background in athletics specifically baseball. Gabriel’s life was built around the discipline for the game.
Many Christmas days were spent practicing with his father and brother as mentors and coaches. We lived for the game of baseball and the every day journey was exactly that… life.
After a solid career in baseball, in search of of his next move in life. The transition to being a CrossFit coach felt seamless. On an afternoon in 2012, his sister in law happened to invite the entire family on a Groupon deal to try a CrossFit class and the rest is absolute history. Gabriel was registered for his L-1 that same weekend.
Fast forward to 2023 as an instructor and owner of Nostra Fitness. He is proud to be able to help individuals manifest their dream life as well as assist others on their special journey. Giving back to the community, in any way possible.

Ryan Alexzander Lopez
Ryan Alexzander Lopez is a Certified CrossFit Level 1 coach, affiliated with Nostra Fitness. With an extensive background of more than a decade in recreational CrossFit, he has passionately pursued his fitness goals and actively participated in various local competitions. Ryan aspires to constantly evolve and excel in all aspects of his life, striving to be the best version of himself. Dedicated to helping others on their fitness journeys, he is committed to guiding and supporting individuals in their pursuit of personal growth and self-improvement. With his wealth of experience and expertise, Ryan endeavors to empower individuals to unlock their full potential and achieve their fitness goals.

Nicolle Erazo
Nicolle Erazo comes from an active childhood and has been in sports such as Volleyball and Soccer most of her life. She tried her first Crossfit class in 2012 and has been in the sport ever since.
Through her own journey she discovered a passion to help others use exercise and nutrition as a vessel to improve their health, build their mindset and regain confidence!
She has worked with multiple people over the course of 6 years as a Personal trainer, Crossfit coach, hosting fitness community events and through her own company- 180 Fitness and Nutrition as an online fitness and Nutrition Coach.
Nicolle has been part of the Nostra family for 5 years and loves to coach and help our members develop as athletes! Her favorite part of Nostra Fitness is the community and putting her fitness to the test everyday!
She graduated with a Psychology major from Florida International University and obtained multiple certifications with a focus on Sports Nutrition such as Precision Nutrition L1, Nutrition Coaching Institute L1 and L2, Health Mindset Coaching Cert and Personal Training (National Association of Sports Medicine) within other certifications.

Mayara Ramaldes
Mayara is an accomplished athlete and coach. She started her sports journey very young, from the age of 5-16 she did Ballet and dance academy and from 12-17 was part of the Volleyball team representing her city in Brazil back home.

Mayara is a health and performance specialist/ strength and conditioning coach and is well-versed in working with athletes of all levels. When she found CrossFit it became an important part of her life, she naturally made the transition to coaching. Mayara specialises in movement and mobility, and is passionate about teaching people how to optimise their movement patterns to make their workouts more effective and prevent injury.

David Vanegas
David began his coaching adventure in 2015, taking his first steps alongside his mentor, Gabriel Casanova, who played a pivotal role in sculpting his early coaching days. Through collaborative efforts, David absorbed invaluable insights, tips, and "tricks" that proved instrumental to his growth as a coach.
To expand his coaching skills and repertoire, David enthusiastically delved into seminars covering weight lifting, gymnastics, and aerobic capacity. This commitment to constant growth became a defining feature of his coaching approach.
David's sports journey began in childhood, primarily with soccer. However, it was in 2012, when he stepped into a CrossFit gym for the first time, that his passion for CrossFit ignited. Since then, coaching has become both his leisure and joy, and he finds great fulfillment in guiding others towards their fitness goals.
When he is not coaching, you'll find David regularly hitting the grind at Nostra Fitness to relish his own personal training sessions. He believes in leading by example and maintains a cheerful and dedicated approach to both his personal and professional fitness endeavors.

Simon Vera
Simon Vera, a dedicated coach with nearly seven years of personal CrossFit experience, boasts a successful coaching career spanning six years. Hailing from Venezuela, Simon brings a unique cultural perspective to his coaching style, which enriches the training experience for his clients.
With a certification as a personal trainer, Simon leverages his diverse background to skillfully guide individuals towards their fitness goals. His coaching approach combines technical proficiency with motivational strategies, creating an environment of support and empowerment.
Simon has demonstrated his ability to create tailored workout plans, conduct dynamic training sessions, and provide personalized nutrition advice. He remains committed to ongoing professional development, constantly seeking opportunities to expand his knowledge and skill set. Drawing upon his extensive CrossFit background, Simon aims to inspire his clients and foster a community-driven fitness culture.
